To reconize the Year of the Bird, I have partnered with Fort Whyte Alive, in Winnipeg, Manitoba to offer Photography classes starting this spring.  My next one is on September 15, 2018 at 1:00 pm.  It will start with an hour in the classroom where I will explain how I create my images and how you can use your camera equipment to capture images that you will be proud of.  This will be followed by spending an hour or so out in the field using your new skills to capture the start of the spring migration.  Then it's back to the classroom for a debrief and maybe a look at some of the image we have captured.  During this class we will be focusing on the multitude of songbirds that migrate through the area.

FortWhyte Alive is more than just a nature centre, wildlife refuge, or a place for education, it is 640 acres of protected urban greenspace is an award-winning destination for incredible outdoor experiences.  It is dedicated to providing programming, natural settings and facilities for environmental education, outdoor recreation and social enterprise. In so doing, FortWhyte promotes awareness and understanding of the natural world and actions leading to sustainable living.

The cost for this class will be $50 for non-members and $40 for members of Fort Whyte Alive

Please Visit https://www.fortwhyte.org/ for more information and to register for the class.

Class size is limited to 12 participants so don't wait to register!
